About Me
I am a PhD student at the University of Houston studying Computational Topology.
Currently, I serve as the Treasurer for the student chapter of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) at the University of Houston and organize the Directed Reading Program (DRP).
During the past two summers I've interned at Sandia National Laboratories and worked on Natural Language Processing and Temporal Link Prediction.
I am also the instructor of record for MATH 1314: College Algebra and have extensive classroom experience having previously taught AP Calculus, Pre-Calculus and OnRamps Pre-Calculus at Sharpstown High School where I also founded and led their math team with a focus on the number sense UIL competitions.
Outside of academia, I enjoy rock climbing, science-fiction, and soccer. Pictured is my beagle Bruno.
